It’s great finally getting to your location when traveling, but when you get to know your surrounding its always fun to take a day tour and get to know the places outside the city. I was in Reykjavik and got to know the city well and wanted to find some iceland day trips that could help me explore. I contacted ITM looking for a little bit of an adventure and found that there were lots things I could do. I chose to do the Northern Lights tour and it was amazing!! I’ve been told that it’s an experience going to see the northern lights, but in person I was blown away. I was fortunate to catch it, since they can’t really predict it, but it was truly unique experience. After a gander at the lights they took us to Iceland’s famous lobster and gave us complimentary Icelandic schnapps. Nothing could top the northern lights though.
